  • MGM’s two signature Chinese restaurants once again attain SCMP’s “100 Top Tables” listing.
  • The honor highlights the excellence of MGM’s culinary offerings and service.

Two Chinese restaurants under MGM – Imperial Court at MGM Macau and Five Foot Road at MGM Cotai – have once again earned places in the “100 Top Tables 2025” restaurant guide, highlighting their outstanding performance and service quality.

Representatives of Imperial Court and Five Foot Road received plaques for their listing in the 100 Top Tables 2025 from the South China Morning Post

Launched 13 years ago by the South China Morning Post (SCMP), the guide is a respected authority in the Hong Kong and Macau fine-dining scene with selections made by a panel of expert reviewers to highlight the region’s finest eateries.

Iwan Dietschi, Senior Vice President of Hospitality of MGM, expressed pride in the repeated recognition, stating both restaurants “are the epitome of our dedication to regional Chinese cuisines and continue to be celebrated by our guests for their exceptional and unique dining experiences, showcasing the rich diversity of Chinese culinary culture.”

Five Foot Road transports guests back to the 1940s with a Sichuanese fine dining experience

Five Foot Road specializes in Sichuan cuisine. Inspired by the region’s landscapes and the grand banquets of Chengdu’s elite in the early 20th Century, the restaurant presents 24 distinct Sichuan flavors through exquisite culinary craftsmanship and premium ingredients. Executive Sous Chef Yang Dengquan, with over 40 years of experience, leads the kitchen. Signature dishes such as the “Stewed Bird’s Nest with Minced Chicken and Egg White in Bouillon” reveal a refined aspect of Sichuan cuisine beyond its common reputation as being fiery and hot.

Imperial Court, meanwhile, reimagines Lingnan cuisine with a modern twist. Its elegant interior features a striking dragon carving and refined glass tableware. Executive Chinese Chef of MGM Macau, Homan Tsui, emphasizes authenticity and craftsmanship, showcasing handmade dishes prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients. Innovative dishes such as “Crispy chicken skin with shrimp mousse and salted fish flakes” featuring local Macau salted threadfin fish offers guests a refreshing experience of Lingnan culinary traditions.

This dual recognition reaffirms MGM’s leading position in the high-end dining market and further enhances Macau’s status as a world-class culinary destination, MGM said.
