This forms a multi-disciplinary talent cultivation network to nurture talent in supporting Macau’s moderate economic diversification.

“Dream Job Comes True” Pre-Work Experience Program
Beyond its ongoing educational partnerships, GEG also supports local youth in exploring careers through practical experience. From July to August this year, GEG participated in the DSEDJ’s “Dream Job Comes True” Pre-Work Experience Program, offering three-week internships to local secondary school students. Students were assigned to departments including Information Systems & Technology, Finance, MICE Operations, Entertainment Services and Marketing Service. Under the professional guidance of “SiFus”, they gained first-hand experience of real working environments while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills. The program deepened their understanding of corporate operations and future career choices.

At the results sharing session, participating students shared their insights, expressing that they had gained valuable experience and recognized the importance of workplace culture and professional ethics. GEG will continue to assist young people in exploring further development opportunities through internship programs and industry mentorship.
