GEG’s Three Casinos named “Responsible Gambling Implementation Model Unit”

Casino Broadway, part of Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), was awarded the “Responsible Gambling Implementation Model Unit” after completing inspection and evaluation by the Working Group on Responsible Gambling. This marks the third casino under GEG to receive this recognition, joining the Casino Galaxy Macau and Casino StarWorld.

2023 marked the 15th year of GEG’s responsible gaming promotion program. With “mental health”, “family” and “seek help proactively” as core themes of the year, GEG launched a series of promotional activities for both its team members and the public, among which was the “Responsible Gaming Awareness Week” last November. Themed “Seeking Help for Winning the Future”, the event featured promotional and educational activities in collaboration with the Youth Volunteers Association of Macao (AJVM), and the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office, drawing nearly 1,700 team members to participate.

GEG also actively participated in various responsible gaming community outreach activities, such as the “Gaming Industry Responsible Gaming Promotion Day” organized by the Macao Gaming Industry Employees Home, and the “Parent-child Financial Management Competition Day” held by AJVM, disseminating responsible gaming information to the public through various means.

GEG states that as the first integrated resort operator in Macau to establish a dedicated responsible gaming team, it has actively supported the Macau government’s implementation of responsible gaming policies and measures. Since 2008, through a diverse range of initiatives, including conducting over 110 different types of responsible gaming activities, training, and community promotions, the company has continued to promote a culture of responsible gaming to its team members and the public, attracting over 112,000 participants.
