In April and May, Sands China organized nearly 50 Sands Cares Ambassadors to help out with the Happy Market Social Enterprise, assisting with sorting and packaging second-hand items, and organizing goods and shelving for sale.

Happy Market, founded by the Macau Fuhong Society, is a social enterprise dedicated to promoting environmental protection and public welfare. It encourages the community and businesses to reduce waste at the source and cherish resources. Donated items benefit those in need, such as economically disadvantaged individuals, while also providing diverse employment opportunities for people with disabilities, expanding their career development paths.

Since 2015, Sands China has been collaborating with Happy Market Social Enterprise, actively supporting environmental protection and community care. The company has collected various supplies from its hotels and donated them to Happy Market. The initiative not only supports environmental reuse, benefiting low-income families and those in need, but also creates more job opportunities for people with disabilities at the Happy Market Social Enterprise.

Sands China expressed that it is looking forward to organizing more diverse community activities, continuing to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and promoting a spirit of inclusion.
