GEG supports “15th Global Chinese Conference on Inquiry Learning 2024”

  • The theme of this year’s conference was “Innovation and Application of Scientific Education and Inquiry Learning in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”.

The “15th Global Chinese Conference on Inquiry Learning 2024”, hosted by the Chinese Society for Inquiry Learning, organized by the Macau Association for the Advancement of Science, co-organized by the University of Macau and supported by the Education and Youth Development Bureau, concluded in July with Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) as the principal sponsor. The conference received over 200 papers with the organizers reporting fruitful outcomes.

The theme of this year’s conference was “Innovation and Application of Scientific Education and Inquiry Learning in the Era of Artificial Intelligence ”. More than 200 Chinese education experts, scholars and professionals from around the world gathered in Macau to discuss the innovation and application of science education and inquiry learning in the context of artificial intelligence (AI). Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG, attended the opening ceremony.

In addition, attendees participated in a series of events held at GEG and the University of Macau, including multiple themed workshops at the Galaxy International Convention Center.

At the closing ceremony, the organizers expressed their hope that the conference would further promote the widespread use and application of AI technology in the education sector, improve the quality of education and cultivate more innovative talent. Annie Loi, Assistant Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility of Public Relations of GEG represented the company at the closing ceremony.

GEG expressed its pleasure in supporting this educational event in Macau, which provides a communication platform for global Chinese educators to promote innovation in science education and inquiry-based learning.

“Going forward, we will continue to leverage our resources to support and promote the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation talent in Macau,” the company explained, adding it wants to inject new momentum into society’s development.”
