Wynn partners with 25 Ningxia wineries to showcase China’s finest wines in Macau

  • Wynn hosted “The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia Wine” event, bringing 25 top vineyards and wineries from Ningxia to Macau.
  • The company aims to showcase Macau’s position as a “Creative City of Gastronomy” to promote the finest Chinese wines and present them on a global stage.

In late October, Wynn Macau teamed up with the Ningxia International Wine Expo Center to host the “The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia Wine”  event, held at Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau. The event featured 25 of Ningxia’s top wineries, highlighting the region’s finest wines.

Part of the annual “Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards” promotional series, the event underscores Wynn’s commitment to assembling China’s finest wineries to promote the international recognition of premium Chinese wine regions. The event also highlights Macau’s role as a platform for culinary exchange under its designation as a “Creative City of Gastronomy”, showcasing the exceptional quality of Chinese wines and bringing China’s finest wines to the global stage.

Participating wineries included Chateau Copower Jade, Xige Estate, Xiban Winery, United Winery, Domaine Freemind, Chateau Lansai, Jade Vineyard, Legacy Peak Estate, Chateau Soleil du Mont, Giantmonte Winery, Lige Yuanshan, Chateau Hedong, Chateau Mihope, Yunling Winery, Helan Hong Winery, Helan Qingxue Vineyard, Kanaan Winery, Yuanshi Vineyard, Domaine Pu Shang, Xiaopu, Domaine Chandon Ningxia, Silver Heights, Mulando, Chateau New Qin Heyu and Penord Ricard Helan Mountain. Together, they presented over 100 top-tier wines, including award-winning selections from the “Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards” – fully demonstrating the rapid growth of China’s wine industry.

The event featured a masterclass, a Ningxia wine walkaround tasting and a prestigious dinner crafted by Chinese culinary masters.

At the “Wynn Signature: The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia Wine Masterclass”, Chinese wine expert David Xing MW hosted a tasting session themed “Harmony of Heaven, Earth, and People”, sharing his insights and experiences across 12 Ningxia wines. The masterclass led participants through discussions and explorations of emerging trends in Ningxia wines, demonstrating the potential for future growth.

The “Wynn Signature: The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia Wine Walkaround Tasting” event brought together 25 renowned wineries from Ningxia, offering more than 100 premium wines, including award-winning selections from the “Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards”. The event drew praise from industry professionals in Macau, Hong Kong and mainland China.

Culinary master Yun Peng Yu

At “The Prestigious Perfection of Ningxia Wine” Gala Dinner, Chinese culinary master Yun Peng Yu crafted a Ningxia-themed feast, pairing each course with a premium Ningxia wine, offering guests a deep dive into the charm of Ningxia’s wines and cuisine.

Wynn noted that through the “Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards” and a series of related events, the company aims to promote China’s rapidly growing wine industry on the international stage, forging close partnerships with domestic wineries to explore branding and market opportunities. Wynn also hopes these events will become a signature project for the company, further contributing to the development of China’s wine industry and sharing China’s finest wines with the world.

GEG supports Grand Thought Think Tank inauguration ceremony and seminar

On September 12, the swearing-in ceremony for the fourth-term governing bodies of the Grand Thought Think Tank, along with a seminar titled “New Opportunities and Pathways for Macau’s Development under the New Blueprint of the 15th Five-Year Plan”, was held at Banyan Tree Macau. Organized by Grand Thought Think Tank with partial funding from the Macao Foundation, the event received GEG’s venue support through the “GEG Venue Partnership Pilot Program”. Around 180 representatives from various sectors, organizations, and higher education institutions attended to discuss Macau’s future development opportunities.
