Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) recently supported the 15th Anniversary of Responsible Gaming Promotions with a series of activities.

Also marking the 10th anniversary of the Sheng Kung Hui (SKH) 24 Hours Hotline & Online Gambling Counselling Services, GEG collaborated with the hotline to host a dedicated service-sharing seminar. During the event, Ms Lao Mei I, Unit in Charge of the 24 Hours Hotline & Online Gambling Counselling Services of SKH shared insights into the hotline’s operational models, including its help-seeking service strategies and the development trends in responsible gaming support. Nearly 20 GEG Responsible Gaming Ambassadors and team members participated, gaining a deeper understanding of best practices for addressing gaming-related issues.

Participants were also invited to visit the “GEG Session: Where the Heart Is – Balancing Spaces” addiction prevention experience exhibition organized by SKH. Through immersive experiences, interactive installations and multimedia displays, attendees explored the risks of gaming addiction and the significance of preventive measures.

GEG also co-hosted and was Venue Sponsor of the 15th Anniversary of Responsible Gambling Promotions Symposium and Closing Ceremony, held at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau and co-organized by the Social Welfare Bureau, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau and the Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming of the University of Macau. Mr Buddy Lam, Director of Corporate Affairs of GEG, along with other representatives, attended the event.

During the seminar, Mr Lam shared GEG’s successful experiences in promoting responsible gaming and its future outlook. He emphasized the importance of fostering industry collaboration and enhancing team members’ awareness and understanding of responsible gaming practices.

GEG also hosted a “GEG Presents: Macau Gaming Industry Development and Responsible Gambling Photo Exhibition” on-site, with its RG ambassadors offering guided tours for attendees.
