- GEG is supporting the “Luso-Chinese Music Arts Festival Macau-Zhuhai-Hengqin” as title sponsor for the second consecutive year.
- GEG also sponsored by the “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: Literary and Cultural Festival for Parents and Children ‘Alphabet & Friends’ 2026”.
Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has long been committed to supporting the development of arts and culture in Macau. Through title sponsorship of music, literature, parent-child and cross-cultural exchange activities, GEG continues to expand platforms for Chinese-Portuguese cultural exchange, enriching Macau’s role as a city where Chinese and Western cultures converge.

Among these are the upcoming “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: ‘Luso-Chinese Music Arts Festival Macau-Zhuhai-Hengqin 2026’”, to be held from 30 May to 8 June, and the recently concluded “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: Literary and Cultural Festival for Parents and Children ‘Alphabet & Friends’ 2026,” both of which fully reflect GEG’s longstanding support and commitment to promoting the development of Chinese-Portuguese arts and culture in Macau.
As title sponsor, GEG is supporting the “Luso-Chinese Music Arts Festival” for the second consecutive year. The festival will be held across the G Box at Galaxy Macau, the “Love Between Fairy and Devil” VR Immersive Experience Center at Galaxy Macau, Zhuhai Art College, and Hengqin School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School. The event further promotes collaboration among Macau, Zhuhai and Hengqin, fostering regional cultural cooperation, and showcasing the vitality and achievements of Chinese-Portuguese musical and cultural integration.

This year, the festival is expanding for the first time across Macau, Zhuhai and Hengqin, featuring a larger scale and richer content to build a broader platform for exchange.
Activities include three major competitions: the “Tuna Macanese Singing Championship 2026,” the “2nd Macau International Orchestral Instrument and Chamber Music Competition” and the “GBA China-Chic Music Competition 2026.”
The festival also features three signature concerts, including the opening concert “Sonic Alliance: Musical Battle” and “Tuna Macanese’s Night,” as well as the closing concert and award ceremony.
GEG is committed to supporting the development of arts and culture in Macau and expanding platforms for Chinese-Portuguese cultural exchange.
In addition to performances and competitions, the festival will also present a series of fringe activities, including a GuQin Exhibition, instrument master classes, Chinese-Portuguese Cultural Experience Workshops, a Musical Marathon in World Heritage sites, and Hanfu cosplay experiences. Spanning performing arts, traditional culture and interactive experiences, these activities promote arts accessibility and cultural interaction from multiple perspectives, allowing residents and visitors alike to experience the charm of Chinese-Portuguese cultural fusion.
Meanwhile, the “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: Literary and Cultural Festival for Parents and Children ‘Alphabet & Friends’ 2026,” title-sponsored by GEG, was successfully featured over 50 activities from 5 to 24 May. As one of Macau’s important annual events promoting Chinese-Portuguese arts and cultural exchange, this year marks GEG’s sixth consecutive year supporting the festival and its second consecutive year as title sponsor, further demonstrating its concrete actions to supporting Macau “One Base” development.

This year’s festival was themed “My City” and centered around the core concept of the “Three Ls” — língua (language), livro (book), and leitura (reading). A wide range of activities for the public and schools were organized, including music, performing arts, parent-child workshops, reading sessions and book launches.
The festival also featured the launch of the bilingual Chinese-Portuguese children’s book “From London to Porto on a Seagull.” Author Inês Cardoso attended the event in person to share her creative inspiration and cross-cultural stories, leading families on a reading journey across borders. The book has also been included in the festival’s “Mini Library” project through which GEG will collaborate with the organizers to donate books to nearly 20 local schools that offer Portuguese-medium instruction or Portuguese language programs.
