Galaxy Entertainment Group’s (GEG) commitment to driving forward the “1+4” adequate diversification development strategy of the Macau SAR Government was highlighted last week when Galaxy Macau was awarded Best Meeting Hotel (Macao) at the M&C Asia Stella Awards.

Held in Singapore, the awards honored the very best MICE destinations, convention centers, destination management companies, hotels, integrated resorts and sustainability efforts in Asia, and saw Macau also recognized by being named Best Meeting City in Asia.

“We are deeply honored by Galaxy Macau’s recognition as the Best Meeting Hotel in Macao,” said GEG’s Chief Operating Officer (Macau), Kevin Kelley.

“Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional facilities and extraordinary service for event guests, winning acknowledgment from both guests and industry authorities through our Asian Heart service philosophy. This award is another meaningful recognition to our team’s commitment and efforts.”

GEG’s environmental efforts were also on show last week when it was awarded the “Green Booth” award at the 2023 Macau International Environmental Cooperation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF).

Incorporating the green wall concept utilized by both Galaxy Macau and the Galaxy International Convention Center, the GEG booth was decorated with various plants and flowers to create an environmentally-friendly ambiance while using LED lights to replace traditional lighting and ensuring all materials used in construction of the booth were recyclable. The booth aimed to highlight GEG’s dedicated support to the Macau SAR Government in achieving the dual carbon goals and its long-standing commitment to Macau’s sustainable development.
