A 40-strong delegation of Sands China’s management and other team members took a guided tour of the 2024 National Security Education Exhibition at the Macao Forum in mid-April, led by Sands China Ltd Executive Vice Chairman Dr Wilfred Wong.
The exhibition was divided into five thematic sections, highlighting how the continuous improvement of national security systems and capabilities has achieved and ensured social security in Macau. It also showcased Macau’s active integration into the overall development of the country and its efforts to continue economic recovery, ensuring Macau’s long-term prosperity and stability amidst the complex and ever-changing global situation.
“We are pleased to have been able to organize tours of the National Security Education Exhibition for six years in a row for our team members as part of our ongoing effort to promote professionalism education,” said Dr Wong.
Karen Kwan, Executive Director of Entertainment for Sands China, was one of the team members on the tour, and said, “I’m glad the company organized this visit to the exhibition, which introduced us to the overall concept of national security from various perspectives, and reminded us to pay more attention to cyber security, which is closely related to our daily lives. As residents of Macau, we should walk along with our country in order to promote economic diversification and the strengthening of quality and productivity.”
The annual event is jointly organized by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR.
