Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) partnered with the National Conditions Education (Macau) Association to host a Ne Zha 2 Movie Screening for 300 teachers, students and parents from schools participating in the “GEG Macau Cup” Youth National Education Competition at Galaxy Cinemas at Galaxy Macau. The group enjoyed a screening of Ne Zha 2, the first Chinese animated film to exceed RMB10 billion in box office earnings to date.
This event forms part of “GEG National Education Series” and a side event of the upcoming “GEG Macau Cup”. Since 2009, GEG has title-sponsored this competition, which has attracted over 130,000 students and is regarded as one of the top three academic competitions in the SAR.
Jack Wang, President of the National Conditions Education (Macau) Association, expressed gratitude to GEG for its ongoing efforts to promote national education and for providing local students with diverse learning opportunities and activities that enhance their understanding of the country’s development. He also thanked GEG for its support and meticulous preparation for the screening event.
“As one of the shining examples of Chinese culture’s global influence, Ne Zha 2 promotes traditional Chinese culture in an innovative and youthful manner,” said Wang. “I believe this will help students appreciate the country’s cultural charm as well as its rapid technological development, enhancing their cultural confidence and sense of identity. Such opportunities are truly rare.”
