GEG hosts “Sport Games Family Experience – Games On!” at Lai Chi Vun Shipyards to celebrate National Games and Macau Grand Prix

Coinciding with the National Games and the 72nd Macau Grand Prix taking place in November, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), as sponsor of both the National Games Macau leg and the Grand Prix, organized the “Sport Games Family Experience – Games On!” at the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards. The experience is taking place every weekend from 14 to 30 November.

Combining elements of both major events, the party features multiple interactive experience zones and themed stalls, allowing residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of sporting celebrations.

A large photo-op installation featuring GEG’s mascot, the peacock Wavey, and musical performances are among the highlights, while complimentary shuttle buses between Galaxy Macau and the event venue are provided.

GEG said it consistently aligns with the Macao SAR Government’s sports policies, sponsoring the Grand Prix for the fifth consecutive year while also hosting the ITTF World Cup and supporting WTT Champions Macao.

The “Sport Games Family Experience– Games On!” featured a table tennis experience zone

As part of the 15th National Games, the table tennis events are currently being held at Galaxy Arena from 7 to 20 November. To celebrate GEG has launched multiple promotional initiatives, including a world record art installation crafted from 7,000 table tennis balls, the “The Artistry of Table Tennis – Collectables & Art Exhibition”, and establishing an official licensed merchandise store.

Furthermore, in collaboration with Macau Special Olympics, it organized the “GEG Macau Special Olympics Inclusive Table Tennis Fun Day 2025” to promote inclusive sports culture.
